This shampoo does not have residual effects. After bathing with the shampoo, spray your pet with our Veterinary Formula Flea & Tick spray which helps control pests for up to 14 days on your pet and up to 14 weeks on surfaces.

It is recommended to wear rubber gloves (mitts) when applying this shampoo.

For best results, follow the instructions on the product packaging carefully. Wear rubber gloves when applying Flea and Tick Shampoo for dogs and cats. When shampooing your dog, avoid eyes. Use a cloth or sponge to shampoo around your dog’s eyes. Thoroughly wet the entire coat with warm water and then apply enough shampoo to make a lather and work thoroughly into the coat. For maximum control, allow the lather to remain in contact with the skin for five to ten minutes before rinsing. Do not reapply the product for 7 days.
